Reducing our carbon footprints

At SteelBeast, we are fully committed to protecting and improving our planet and we are all conscious of the footprint we create in the communities we operate in. Our business is built on a sustainable and socially conscious culture that provides solutions for the demands of everyday life.

We recognise the adverse environmental impacts which our services can have on the environment, as well as the benefits of working to support the communities in which we operate.

We have created our environmental, social and governance framework to ensure that everything we do is governed by a commitment to reduce the negative impacts we have on our environment.

Our five commitments - to the environment, our people, materials, innovation and communities - are underpinned by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Each of our business units has established actions to tackle some of the most pressing environmental and social concerns, from improving our positive impact on the communities in which we work, to reducing our carbon emissions. All commitments have measurable outcomes to ensure sustainability is built into everything we do.

We will measure and mitigate our impact on the natural environment. By taking a holistic approach to delivering our projects, we work collaboratively with our clients and partners to cultivate modern methods of construction and science-based-targets to focus our efforts on reducing carbon emissions.

Our approach is to constantly raise the bar, looking at where we can minimise waste and the use of unnecessary materials, whilst taking the right steps to prevent pollution and helping to protect our planet. Across our activities, we implement smart materials management and will digitalise processes to reduce our overall use of materials.
